Steps House Residential Recovery Program

Steps House Residential Recovery Program is a 9-12 month structured housing program that focuses on behavior modification. All program participants must commit to sober living, be willing to obtain and maintain employment, attend the Steps House Day program for the first 5 days, and attend 12-step meetings daily.  If accepted into the program, clients must pay 2 weeks rent in advance ($330) and a one-time admission fee ($200). This total of $530 is non-refundable and must be paid in advance of your arrival. The only exception to this is RHP grant approval which waives all entry fees. Anyone with disability or paying on a monthly basis will be required to pay a monthly fee of $715 and have their disability already instated. Weekly rent is $165.00 payable by 7pm on Friday of each week.

• Client must be (18) years of age or older.
• Client MUST be able to pass a drug screen upon entry to Steps House (with no acute withdrawal symptoms.)
• Client must be willing to admit and address their difficulties with alcohol/substance misuse.
• Client must be capable of walking up & down a steep hill and sets of stairs as well as being able to care for their selves.
• If the client intends to file for disability/SSI they must be receiving it prior to their arrival in our program or be capable of working enough to pay their weekly rent.
• Client will be transferred to a higher level of care if he exhibit signs of potential threat to himself or others.
• Clients who take medications or who have pre-existing psychiatric disorders- must have current prescriptions in their possession.
• Client must exhibit appropriate levels of emotional/behavioral stability suitable for a group centered environment.
• Client must be able to care for their personal belongings and maintain their personal living quarters in a reasonable state of cleanliness and orderliness.
• Client must be able to obey and abide by the rules and regulations of the Steps House, Inc.
• CLIENT MUST HAVE VALID TENNESSE ID. (PAROLE IDENTIFCATIONIS NOT ACCEPTED)
• Client must commit to this 9-12-month program for a certificate of completion.
• We cannot accept registered sex offenders due to our proximity to a school.
• The client must be able to fulfill the financial requirements of the Steps House, Inc. facility.

Completing the application does not guarantee entry into the Steps House Residential Recovery Program.
